Can you make a close up video showing how you tapped into the factory amp? What about RCA's and remote turn on? Sorry, I'm a newbie

Look at minute mark 4:20 that’s when I started the tap. We used high level input on kicker amp that amp has auto sensing turn on feature. Didn’t need remote turn on wire. Thanks for watching!

Did you notice any noise increase after unplugging the ANC module? I got a 2024 ridgeline and looking to do the same thing.

Do you think sound dampening behind the seat would’ve helped with road noise entering the cabin?

We have no noticeable road noise.

How big of a difference did this make? Just got a 2023 Ridgeline. Trying to decide if we need to replace the factory sub or add additional speakers.

BIG difference. I am very happy with it. Just replaced sub and added amp. Sounds great.

How and where did you hijack the signal going to the new amp and bigger question is none of these changes interfere with the ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) system in the truck. Are you getting any feedeback?

We used the subwoofer signal at the connector just outside of the factory box, just unplugged and spliced and ran into high level input on amplifier. Yes after adding the amplifier the ANC had feedback, we unplugged the ANC controller located just above the glove box to disable system
