Tommy, I love your work! And your team!! 😂 Can't wait to see how this boat handles. I would like to offer my 1973 Mustang convertible 351 2v for your next project.😂 I have a vision but the lack of ability and tools to pull off. Would like to build a stronger motor with aftermarket heads, I've got the list. 😂 Chris Alston's TCP coilover front with new rack & pinion and a 4-link rear suspension, convert auto to 5 speed tremec. Maybe a mini tub to get more tread, and your beautiful paint job. A man has to have a dream.

Making a foam block that precisely matches the curves you are sanding seems like a pretty easy thing to do -- and would be especially useful for large surfaces.

It looks pretty good but I want to wait to see it out in the sunlight before I am sure. So far it doesn't look that much better than the original color to go through all the added BS that is a kandy paint job. If I were going to go over a black base in this case I think I would use the black that was on a mid 70's Dodge ramcharger since it had a few different color micas in it.

In that case you are lucky because they are not very expensive compared to other classic cars. I just bought my dream car after searching for a few years, my advice would be to go for it and avoid the "one day I will buy one" because they only go up in price. Good luck, old cars and the skills needed to fix them are a great hobby.
