Looking great!! I love Gomphrena!! Your tulips and daffodils are looking so great too. Mine are completely done flowering, and we live so close!

Hey Shannon! Thank you! Not sure what I would do without it! I will have to stake it this year b/c they fell over last year from the weight!😩! Well, since I filmed/edited this video, my tulips are done, but my daffodils are still going strong! 💪🏻

Looking great, Dawn! I had Cohen’s last year but it didn’t do very well. Maybe too hot. I’m looking forward to seeing yours.

Thank you Reagan! …that’s a bummer. The heat destroys so many things:(

Hi Dawn! Lovely garden! I want to try amending my garden with expanded shale. I’m in the same zone as you are. Where do you get it? Thanks!
@shadedfromreality2 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thank you so much! I get the Expanded Shale at a couple of local nurseries: Calloways and Green Acres! Hopefully, you can find some. If not, I find that pea gravel is the next best option.

So I’ve been looking at those Abelias . Any idea how long the blooms last ? Do you know how cold tolerant they are? Nice job!
@shadedfromreality6 ай бұрын
Hello Wesley, Thank you very much! I will speak specifically to the Rose Creek Abelia since the Radiance abelias are new to our yard. Last year, my rose creek blooms lastest about 3 months...during the extreme summer temps! They are both cold hardy down to about -10. The rose creek was an evergreen through the winter and we got down into the low teens this winter. The radiance is new to me, but I am hoping to have the same blooms and performance. I hope that answers your questions!

@@shadedfromreality thanks so much! I’m impressed with how long you said it had blooms. Think I’ll add a few to my front bed. Thanks again
