On a mostly stock setup you'll be fine but once you start to mod you'll want to watch your pulse width and keep it in check. Great question!

Watched it on 50% playback lol On HP Academy, they had you copy fuel and spark values from your 93 tune then make adjustments from there.

On my very first tune, will my ECU need to be sent in and jailbroke like a locked cellphone, or can a stock c7 z06 be tuned by my shop without sending the chip in?

Yes you can, a lot of fuels already have 10 ethanol already, you need the sensor to find out which fuel stations have it.

my c7 stingray with the lt1 doesn't have the stoic afr option. it actually only has the flow rate on the fuel/general tab.

Is there a way to change cold cranking on the flex E85 side only? Cold starts are a bit sluggish at 80% but fine on 93. Thanks

I believe there's a table for alcohol content during startup. In fuel tab.

Is there any specific content to run when tuning ethanol or even c16 ,q16...etc like do I need my alcohol percent to be 100% or 50% or 20%..etc while tuning does it really matter

i did it on a 99 with a 02 tahoe file, but engine shuts off after start i got P0122 AND P1637. IF I PUT THE ORIGINAL FILE, NO DTC SHOWS UP

I was "mostly" following you until you mentioned "Fifth... Fourth... Third Generation". The only generation I'm aware of is 7th ie C7!!! Pardon my ignorance. Also... coming at this as a complete greenhorn, who has the fortune of recently obtaining a '16 C7Z m7 car, with about 1900 more miles put on the 3800-something I purchased it with, I'm trying to decide what mods to do. Did I hear you right that converting the car to flex fuel would provide "only" 15-20 hp with a safe, ie rich tune and the e-10 available at the pump? What power gains would my car make with straight e-85? Thanks for any feedback you can provide to these perhaps pesky and ignorant questions.

C7Z will pick up 70-80 on E85. It’s direct injected and boost both of which E85 helps tremendously
