Very nice 😉 I did something similar inspired by a friend's bmw. But you did it in a much more professional way. Well done

Hello! Do you may have an advice on why my trunk lighting doesnt work anymore? I changed the bulb, but still nothing. I wonder how the light knows whether the trunk is closed or open, or by what it is controlled or what its connected to in general. Thanks for your help!

Hello. There is a trunk switch that supplies ground. On my 5HB it is connected to all other door switches, so no matter which door I open, light in the trunk is always on. Not cool. 12V are coming from ROOM fuse. You need a multimeter and check which one you are missing on the pins for the light bulb.

Hello. While doing this application, I short-circuited the socket in the fuse box. now the ceiling light does not come on when the doors are opened. the power comes on but the negative cable is not working. I checked all the fuses. Can you help me where should I look? thank you.

Yep, I know exactly where the problem is - I made 2 videos about this problem: 1. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2OudqSgi6-hrLc 2. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6W6dHmLqsiLbZI Problem lies in the instrument cluster, that is why I made 2 videos for the same problem, as I blew-up 2 different instrument clusters. In the second video I added an external fuse to the line, so that never happens again.

Thank you very much for your help. I don't speak much English, but as far as I understand, there is a problem with the transistor in the display. I can solve this problem by throwing a bridge with a cable from the places you showed me, right?

@@umitozgur4485 Yes, PCB track burns out. Open the instrument cluster and you will see it. Transistor should be fine, it is a powerful one.
