Hi,i have a 1999 gw 626 and the speedomere reads 10 km higher than it should,what could be the issue?

Wrong tire size. What does it say on your tires? Are they all the same?

No. The VSS of the 626 is either calculated by the ABS (if you have one) or there is a VSS sensor on the gearbox (if no ABS). Since both methods are after the clutch, slipping clutch will not result in wrong speed shown by the instrument cluster. Most 626 have ABS and if a sensor fails, you will get ABS, parking brake and both TCS indicators lid all the time. If you do not have those, then it's either wrong wheel size or bad IC. The IC has a build-in "input/output" mode. Search in Google and you will find the procedure. In it there is a check for VSS that will show if IC is functioning properly or not.
