I recommend going to RTAC training in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. It's a 3 day training course. A lot of information in those 3 days.

Did you get the license for tech view? When I plug in I only get data. I don’t have graphic on the unit view like yours had.

I had trouble with connection. Turned out I had to select com port by selecting connected devices in control panel and, that's where I found usb/pin adapter assigned comm. Thanks for the video.

My question is how did you get the program to even work on the computer, I have downloaded it and they told me from trane that i needed java version 6 update 30, so downloaded that and still nothing. any helpful comments, please help

I do not work on Chillers but I am curious, did you attempt to unbind and rebind the old sensor? To see if it begin to function again, I'm sure Trane has system safegards to ensure that the EM interference doesn't cause the sensors to "drop out." Thanks for the great video!

Capitol Refrigeration,Heating,and Cooling you have to call the supply house and the counter person will call them and you will be on 3 way with the tech support person and counter person. It’s pretty dumb if you ask me.

What cable do you use? I am getting connection problem error on techview.

You will have to find the proper comm port. Go under start menu search or device manager and look for ports, and it will tell you which port to select on the Tech view screen.

@@UlisesPalacios so just with a temp probe in the same well? Or using the software..I got the computer and correct program. Know how to bund and what not. But I've never been the tech to diagnose it....just take the temp...if it's off .it's bad.....I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be.....hahaha....thanks homie...love your channel...always great footage and knowledge! Tony Dibiaso for sure man. They actually tell you to take the probe out of the well and put it in an ice bath. It should read near 32 but I just put a pipe clamp near the sensor. It should read within 1-3 degrees of the sensor. I’ve. Had a few pressures transducers read about 20-30 psi off also.

They are lucky with a super tech like you, i would have quit when changing a sensor needed a confuser. Download this, upload that, update this.😠😠😠😠. Damm trane better get there shit together.
