This was interesting and a breath of fresh air so to speak. Bee keeping and everything that goes along with it looks like it would be a very relaxing hobby with a little adrenaline rush when it came to getting up close and personal with them 😂. Thank You!! 😃

What a smart way of embedding the wires in.

I cut the foundation down to 1-2" strips. The bees don't need a full sheet, just something to get them started. Stretches your $$ as well. I used a battery from a cordless impact drill battery, some copper wire and some blade connectors to fit into the battery. And instead of going from the outside wires on the frame, I energized the wire in pairs. Left pair of wires, then right pair of wires.

7:59 If you want the wire to be embedded quickly and exactly in the middle of the foundation sheets every single time, you'd have to make a jig for it. A jig that is basically a block that has the same external dimensions as the internal dimensions of the layens frame and is just thick enough so that when the frame is placed onto the jig, the distance between the wires and the block is equal to half the thickness of the foundation sheet. But according to the website where you got those sheets from, you got it exactly right, you're supposed to see the wire poke through, looking like stitches on both sides.

If you are careful whit your fingers, you can also just carefully press it a little bit in. Your bees will love to complete it👍🏼❤️

I just took an old disused lap top cord with a transformer on it. Cut off the computer plug and crimped on two alligator clamps. I have an outlet on a switch. Clip one alligator on each end of the frame wire. Place the wax on the frame wire. Then flip on the switch until it melts in, about 5-8 seconds.

Do you have an address for the Spanish wax foundations?
