I make soap with caustic soda and I came up with the phrase: "Water Waits, Lye Lands" to help me remember which order to do it in.

I was not aware that caustic soda was used on olives.

It's sodium hydroxide, originally made from wood ash!

@@FincaLife But it’s in its plastic bottle in Crystal form … many years ago I saw what caustic soda could do on a very very dirty concrete yard at my uncle’s farm … it just ate many years of dirt and left it so clean … but I remember the such safety palava prior to him doing probably scared me for life against using it ! … 🙏☘️😘

Hi Paul, we understand the offer has been accepted. The dogs are fine and even walking on a slack lead now, most of the time :) We'll save you some olives...

Watched you making that mortar to cement your solar panels in. You never added gravel? I hope you don';t get charged a sun tax like we are in Australia. We were subsidised to install solar panels on the roof, and we got paid for the excess electricity we produced. Now the amount we were paid has dropped and soon the power companies will be charging us to take our power. (SUN TAX)

The 'sand' is a sand / gravel mix. That sun tax is outrageous. Here you can sell any surplus to the grid, I believe. Unfortunately we aren't connected to any grid :)
