Couple little building tips for you: You only need 1 pillar every 2 spaces, so if you had a 3x3 shack, youd only need 4 pillars, one in each corner. So keep that in mind as you build and expand. Second, you dont need to KEEP the pillars once you have your roof up and such. You can tear them down after you got your roofing up. And thus save some space. Finally, you can go out in the middle of the water and build yourself a big ol base out there. You dont NEED to build on land. Other tips: ALWAYS gather Mushrooms, Strawberries, Lemons, Scallops and whatever else food item you find out in the wilds. Those are all important foods after all. Strawberries restore 10 food AND water both remember. You can dodge to the side as a shark comes at you easily enough, and stab it then, rather than face it head on and get bitten. Crossbow Bolts are apparently a good way to get stuff from the trader. Just make a bunch of those with some of your excess scrap, and you should be able to get that sea glide like thing. As well as a battery to power it. Also research and build the fridge, it should make storing your food MUCH easier, as it would likely hold more than the crates, but also look better. And finally, in regards to your complaints about the sharks cheating with no clip. I only have this to say: If your not cheating, your doing it wrong/not trying. Im pretty sure they subscribe to this same philosophy. Oh and maybe you should consider going to one of the Mutants areas and clearing them out. Under factions it tells you how many islands and such they have and how many enemies there are of them total.

An important item to have for advanced crafting and upgrading is the Electronic Parts, you can find them in the green boxes near the base of the power poles, and if you need a good enough defence for your base use the wall spikes they'll attach to the support beams

The chicken came from the Z, the wood and scrap holders hold about half as much as the storage box. The holders are just quick access.

Yes diving around and getting a lot of valuable items. But I like the Crossbow its pretty great and if you use scrap metal to make bolts and trade bolts to trader you can get some good deals also. Using crossbow at the water level to shoot sharks down below is pretty nice "cheat"

I sell all my low value items (I think you can sell anything but havent tested it yet) for the silver coins the trader has. That way you can fill up your limited "sell inventory" with low value items for a higher value item that stacks. That way they take up less room at your base if youre saving up for a big ticket item

Yeah, that is one of my ALL TIME pet peeves in video games..... If I kill someone, who is shooting at me, I GET THAT WEAPON!!!! Plain and simple. No exceptions.. I don't know if Congress needs to get involved, or what, but that HAS to be how it works.....

I think on land the 2 handed axe works best but for under water the hatchet or metal axe (single hand) would be better plus do get yourself a range weapon for both defence and offence as there is a mutant boat with a few on there that can be taken out from your boat then loot the place for all the goodies and also an island what has iron ore tree's and lemons. Enjoying your playthrough of this game and thinking about picking it up myself. Edit: PS you had your bandages on you all the time, was 1 in top left of your bag, and speaking of bags don't forget to kill another shark and some marlin as will need there skin for the bigger bag and other things to research.

A great place to get ammo, gun parts, equipment and supplies needed for advanced grafting is the police station, to get there you'll have to fight group of 6 sharks and you'll need at least 2 air tanks and the under water scooter you can buy from the trader

Could I suggest selling renewables, rather than non-renewable items? I mean, now you have a source of endless fish... eat strawberries (and, when you get them, lemons) and sell fish. Also, try planting the bush seeds.

if you open your sails and press esc - your boat will still accumulate acceleration and once you close the menu it'll get a huge boost. So you can literally cross entire map in 1s if you press esc and wait for like 3 minutes. Very fun thing to do tbh but atch out to not get stuck on an island.

I highly recommend you craft a crossbow bc it's op. Ammo for it is dirt cheap and if yo ustay on the surface of the water you can just shoot at sharks and they won't even agro on you. Also once you get real good with it you can snipe enemies from far away where they can't shoot you with guns and once again bolts are dirt cheap and only require 2 scrap per 10 bolts.

You my man have some serius attention dissorter you start one thing then jump to another just get to one thing and do it you need crossbow for real you need to build a furnace to get iron so you could build a tank to go for police station where you can get gun parts you cant find whole guns just parts and you will need gun table to build a gun dont bother getting scooter you need batteries and generator for those and you need to build batteries trader ones are one time use watch out for electronic parts in grren boxes under power lines and there is so much more you need but pickaxe is needed soon
