Tried doing what you said and that little metal part with the rod going through it broke off IMMEDIATELY. Considering what it's been through, that's not surprising, just annoying.

Sorry that happened, the push-rod material should be all metal vs half plastic. Engineered parts for us to buy more. Thanks for watching

@@OperationRV the rod is fine, I'm talking about the metal part on the lock that the rod goes through. It has a hole in it for the rod to pass through and be held by the yellow part, that metal part broke off.

Man, I did most of that, but I have not broke the plastic YET! 😮
