Thanks for posting this. I just checked with insurance agent and had my solar panels and batteries added to my homeowners insurance. It was a minor increase in me home insurance policy cost. Thank you.

After hurricane Ian my solar company, efficient home services wouldn't fix my solar, insurance paid 12000 to remove and install. Did it all myself and pocketed around 11000. My disgust for solar companies grows everyday. Definitely make sure you have insurance.

Are you saying your solar company refused to fix your solar for $12000 that the insurance would pay?

@@Martinit0 yup, they wanted 15000 to remove and install. Should of said myself and 2 sons helped do all the work. This is a 35 panel system.
