Made one of these 20 years ago. Going to start another one tonight. Thanks for the refreshing course. Your stockings are beautiful.

Hi Jennifer! Was hoping you would show the satin stitch and French knot (as you said in the end of video 3 would be in video 4), is it showcased in another video? Thanks!

Hi Kayla! It looks like when I put this video together I did not include those stitches as a previously said I would! I'm sorry about that! I don't think I have a video showing me doing the Satin Stitch but I do show how to do a French Knot. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6rZqnenpLJ0r7c (skip to 10:40 for the French Knot) I just started another tutorial doing an Owl Wreath and will be showing every step! I am also planning on creating separate short videos on each stitch to make it easier for my viewers if they don't know how to do them! Thanks so much for watching and bringing up my error! :)

Wow, you are really awesome to put so much out there! I am working on second stocking and really want to sharpen my skills and your videos have been so helpful so far, thanks so much! I’ll check out the one your mentioned and follow along for the newer content :)

When you add stuffed pieces how do you do it? Go right through stuffing? I can’t seem to find an example to make sure the pieces are secure
@JenniferGoodTGL Жыл бұрын
When I first made these stockings I sewed right through the stuffing not knowing it would make things harder for me. I applique around the perimeter like I would a non stuffed piece. I demonstrate this in newer videos.

I really need to see how to sew the eyes, every video I have watched they just show them completed. Can you help me?

Faces in particular are hard to show. I know I have shown the face in other tutorials, but I cannot recall which ones. If I find those, I'll reply to this comment. Is there a specific stitch you need help with? Or just the process of embroidering the eyes?

I just finished the one hanging on the wall behind u shown at the beginning of this video. I see u double dip when attaching the beads to the sequins. I only go through it once. You appear to come up from the backside and go again.

This was my first round of stockings ever and I was still learning a lot. Now I double the thread on beads and sequins so I don't go through twice. Less thread breaks and the sequins are more secure.

About how long does each stocking take you to complete?
@JenniferGoodTGL5 жыл бұрын
I can complete a stocking in less than 4 weeks. If I'm filming a tutorial on that stocking, it can take longer (6-8 weeks).
