True. Most cities seem to have a "theme" whereas Adelaide looks like a bunch of random, oddly placed buildings of different eras scattered around the place. I'm sure it'll eventually look good, but at the moment it looks awkward.

Adelaide never had a skyscraper. Are they over 150 metres tall?? If so, then they’ll be Adelaide’s first skyscraper because it must be over 150M tall

Because the airport is so close to the city, unfortunately most of the CBD is restricted airspace. However, the East side (roughly anywhere East of Pulteney St) is suitable for recreational flying without a permit or licence (if your drone weighs less than 250g like the DJI Mini 2 I use). The Adelaide city council has a blanket ban on drones (even under 250g), except in the south East parkland designated area. Might want to check council by-laws as well as your app next time.

There's been high-rise buildings in Adelaide for ages, but the skyline had barely changed since the early 90s... until a few more in the 100-150m range were recently built. Two genuine skyscrapers (more than 150m) will also be going up soon.

That's too bad. The immigration program wouldn't be so significant if the national fertility rate was adequatly reaching replacement level. Until more Aussies start popping out offspring more frequently like we once did, then the government will keep using this factor as an excuse to flood us with so many immigrants.
