To be fair, Joseph Parker is the WBO interim champion, which means he isn’t ranked in any other governing body. For that fight to happen, I believe he has to drop the WBO interim title. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Otherwise, Daniel is going to have to fight one of the 15 ranked by the IBF.

Frank's the best in the business at bringing fighters through with the right fights at the right time. He wouldn't be doing his job properly if he puts Wardley in with Dubois because Dubois has had the seasoning, the setbacks the experience, the step up's in class to mould him into a champion. Fabio can bang and has a punchers chance but think back to the state of him at the end of the 1st Clarke fight and then picture Dubois's jab and stamina in the later rounds coming at him. Levels. I'd give Parker the shot because he's far more deserving and continue to match Fabio smartly to develop him for the future.

Hear me out, Parker doesn’t get the shot. With the Saudi involvement, boxing is moving faster than ever and the fastest moving division of the lot is Heavyweight. Parker is the forgotten man. Yes, two fantastic wins but the Zhang fight was in March and he hasn’t been linked with a fight since. It’s the classic mandatory challenger mentality. He should be next in line but he may have waited too long.

In a perfect world Parker vacates wbo interim belt, is then ranked number 1 by ibf and we get Parker vs Dubois. Wardley should bever be mentioned in the conversation. I like wardley, but world title shot is not british title.shot. Wardley id like to see in a step up fight against an ajagba, Anderson, huni, hughie fury, guido etc. At the same time. Parker not getting any fight lately is very strange. Fun fact parker vs Dubois was supposed to be on one of the first riyad season cards, but dubois team took the miller fight last minute, while parker got the wilder fight last minute. It will be in Febuary on a big card in Riyadh, so almost certainly a PPV Main Event. The only options for a realistic PPV Headliner are Kabayel, Bakole, Zhang, Joshua and maybe Ajagba, Wardley and Itauma, but he's not in the top 15. Kabayel, Zhang and Bakole are too dangerous and not marketable enough for a realistic voluntary, and Anthony Joshua isn't ready for Febuary - thank God. Anyone coming off a loss is a no go, and no one wants to see Chisora, Wallin, Vianello, and I don't think Hearn is putting Huni anywhere near Dubois, and Derek Chisora is the only fight THAT COULD BE PPV, at a real stretch. If the unified titles are vacated, Joseph Parker and Manuel Charr are also options, although no matter what, if they sell it as a unification fight, there is nothing that could interested in Daniel Dubois vs Manuel Charr. Parker is the toughest possible fight but also the biggest possible fight, so may be a risk worth taking. Wardley and Ajagba and marketable, and could be marketed as a Hagler-Hearns guarenteed war, like they tried to market Dubois-AJ. I think the 3 realistic options are Parker, Wardley and Ajagba. Parker is probably a bit too dangerous, especially if it's not for the WBO Title. Ajagba and Wardley are 2 sides of the same coin, but I think Wardley is a slightly bigger name, with a more impressive record, British, and more marketable and an easier sell. I think it should be Parker, Zhang, Bakole or Kabayel. However, I think from a commercial perspective, and a business perspective, Fabio Wardley is the best and most logical choice for Frank Warren - and that's who I think it will be.

We need to talk about what happens if Fury wins or what happens if Usyk wins again. Fury wins and he will want to fight Joshua rather than Dubois or Usyk again- and he won’t CARE what anyone thinks as long as he gets his extra fight, because Fury will know he can’t stand up to Dubois. He will try to go joshua then Usyk 3 then Dubois maybe last fight ever or retire without fighting Dubois at all which would be a shame. If Usyk wins I would doubt if he would want this new Dubois coming for him at age 27. He can just state he already has the win, but the thing is, Daniel really deserves that rematch.

Parker should fight Dubois, he has the experience and has earned a shot. He has called out Dubois and is promoted by Warren so win win for old Brick Top - whoever wins he has a huge fight and a champion. The winner could then go on to face the winner of Kabayel and Bakole which was ordered by the IBF I believe. Wardley needs two or three more good tests although I'm sure he will not hesitate to take this if it's offered, and it would be a good fight, Wardley would have a solid punchers chance. PS Usyk was NEVER number 2 to Fury. You are supposed to be an "expert" come on dude.
