I love how much sense the Adepta Sororitas make in the setting. They fit so perfectly. Young women are the most earnest and unapologetic when it comes to espousing the more extreme elements of a culture. This was well documented in Germany during the 1930s, in China during the 50's and 60s and Japan in the early 30's. We see it now in the West with extremes of the dominant culture of the left. It makes a lot of sense that young women would be the most susceptible to espousing devotion of the Imperial Cult and therefore be able to manifest the Emperors Will where the Astartes cannot. GW don't make them outshine the Space Marines in combat, but have them outshine them in devotion and zeal. Even the Black Templars would tell them to cool off a bit. The SoB also have the Hospitalis which are not combat orientated. A lot of young women would join an effort like this in a heartbeat, the same impulse that sees so many women today become nurses and take work in residential and palliative care. Yet another surprisingly sensible piece in the vast, convoluted jigsaw puzzle that is 40k lore. Thanks for covering them in such detail.

I think the fact that they are separate from the Space Marines is a good thing because it doesn't cheapen the Astartes and it makes them very unique. I really like the fact that they are unaugmented Human warriors but still have the cool gear that astartes use.

You do a great job of reviving lore!!! But... for unaltered females in light power armor compared to what is described as a small tank, the space marines should not be so easily beat. Space marine lore is constantly at odds with what is said and what outcomes are written.
