Omnissiah and Vashtorr? Could it be the same being? Is the Omnissiah even real? I don’t play, only love the lore (relative newbie). But does it have any actual effect or is it invented to supplement their limited knowledge about how some things work? Edit: is there any hope or light at all in the grim dark? I love it but holy frack there seems nothing to hope for or believe in at all. I understand grim dark but the motivation and drive for me is that even in the darkest hour that there is a spark of hope. But the marines are just seem to be an endless rotation of inevitable failure and corruption. I enjoy the harlequin lore the most. an endless meat grinder is entertaining in its diversity but in the end nothing is left to hope for and the only thing is to be entertained by the various forms of death and futility and endless failure. The primarks are a dim pathetic attempt at survival that caused as much harm as good. The emperor is a failure and even if he properly revives, he is just another being using humans and serving himself. His gleaming light is just a distracting flare masking his own selfish subjugation, reminiscent of every religion that uses and lies to people to gain and protect power irl. OR maybe I’m grasping grim dark when I was not before. At least the orks are fun.
