Increase focus and reduce the symptoms of ADHD, with this track from my ADHD Intense Relief isochronic tones series.
This isochronic tones music session is designed to speed up your brain while keeping your left brain hemisphere dominant. This is helpful for increasing concentration, attention and reducing emotional response and hyperactivity in those with ADHD.
► Get the MP3 version (called 'Maia Nebula'): www.mindamend.com/shop/intell...
► Subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks:
kzbin.info...
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are usually characterized by "slow-wave" EEG patterns, particularly in the left frontal region. This session stimulates the left brain hemisphere with a much higher frequency than the right, which helps to correct a hemispheric imbalance.
Note: Each brain hemisphere controls the opposite side of the body. So to stimulate the left brain hemisphere the frequency is played in the 'right ear', and to stimulate the right hemisphere that frequency is sent to the 'left ear'.
Both ears start with the 10Hz frequency, which gradually ramps up until the 15-minute mark. At this stage, the right ear (left brain hemisphere) receives 40Hz for 5 minutes and the left ear (right brain hemisphere) receives 14Hz. This cycle is then repeated 9 times over the course of the 3-hour track.
Headphones/Earbuds Are Required
As this session stimulates each ear with a different frequency, you do need to wear headphones/earbuds to get the full effect.
What Volume?
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with.

I've had some similar feedback over the years but it's not that commonly reported to me. It's hard to know why any individual might react different to the norm. I suspect it may be that this intense version might be calming your mind too much. I recommend trying my cognition enhancer videos and see if they work better for you in this regard kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXvYiGVuhM6NmZY. I have been considering bringing out more less intense ADHD videos, to see how people respond to those. Unfortunately, there's no one size fits all approach, so it can take a bit of trial and error to find what works best for you.

I am so focused, I have clear cohesive thought patterns. I retain information I complete tasks in record timing, and the anxiety that I usually associate with studying or any kind of work is manageable. I feel in charge, from this, such a simple solution to a complex, assorted issues I have been living with daily... thanks and God bless

I love this kind of music for my adult ADHD. Can you make some videos with the animals, only with music like this?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 жыл бұрын
I will be making more with this style of music. However, the animal series of videos is really just to highlight a certain type of more upbeat tracks. An ambient style track like this one, wouldn’t really fit with the upbeat techno style tracks associated with that series. That’s not to say I wouldn’t use similar colourful abstract visuals for a track like this, I just wouldn’t feature an animal in it. If you get what I’m saying?

This one helped me a lot more than the one with the color changing brain, thank you. Is there different tones in this one?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 2 жыл бұрын
The tones and frequencies on this one are the same. However, I’ve found that people will often resonate much better with one track over another because of the soundtrack that I’ve used. The frequencies can be just what your brain needs, but if the music genre really switches you off, that creates some resistance. Likewise, a soundtrack that resonates better with you can add more weight to the effectiveness of the tones. It’s why I continue to create new music versions, to help people find the sweet spot and combination that works best for them.

I haven't quite worked out what to make for ADHD sleep just yet. It's still an experimental area, with not much to go on research-wise. I know lots of people with ADHD find this high frequency track calming but I still think it would be too high frequency as a sleep track. Your feedback may suggest otherwise though. Second person today asking for a sleep track for ADHD, so I'm going to give this some thought. I will probably try and create a few different types of experimental sleep videos for ADHD and just see what resonates with people.

Hi Jason, and hi ADHD community :) I have been diagnosed not long ago and I'm still in the process of connecting things I've been doing all my life and thought were normal to my ADHD :) Also very new to finding things that work for me, so that's why I'm here. I like the track but 15 minutes in I realised I was feeling like pressure behind my eyes(hard to explain the feeling but def connected to my eyes), I wonder If someone had the same experience? I though it might be because I was in front of the computer screen for long, so I tried again with my eyes closed and it had the same effect. It goes away after a few minutes when I stop the video. I don't know it might just be a random feeling that happened to appear now but I'll try again in the next days. Cheers

Some people can feel some tension in their head if they are dehydrated. Although it's unusual for someone to report issues in the eye area. In most cases, ensuring you're well-hydrated usually manages to overcome issues of head tension like this. So I recommend drinking water beforehand and during any long play listening.

Jason, thank you for your work - been using the music consistently for couple years now and it definitely helps. Quick question: I have ADHD and am left-handed. In your ADHD-session descriptions you mention that frequencies vary between right and left headphones to stimulate the hemispheres in different way. I wonder, does (in your opinion) being left-handed mean that I could benefit from switching left and right frequencies for enhanced effect ? Thanks

There are some differences seen in brainwave activity between left and right-handed people. However, it's generally recommended that left and right-handed people have the headphones on the same way. It's been a while since I've looked it up. From memory, I think it's around 20 percent of left-handed people might benefit more by having the headphones on the other way because their brainwave activity is sufficiently different. Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing if you're in the 20 percent minority without being monitored on an EEG. So the odds suggest it's best to wear the headphones in the normal way. What I would suggest, is if anyone reads this who is left-handed and my ADHD track isn't working as well it seems it does for other people, then it might be worth trying the headphones on the other way.

Hello Jason - I am just realizing that I probably have adult ADHD (I have a medical eval coming up in a couple weeks) so I'm new to all this. I just discovered your video and started using it and sure enough I am able to focus more (sorry, I'm a pretty big skeptic). I'm in my 50's but am also a fulltime student, work, and am doing an internship - and managing a family. My question is since the Hz frequency gradually ramps up, should I always start it over if I leave for a bit and come back? Does it matter if I take a short break, longer break, or even come back hours later? I really appreciate your help. I'm just so grateful to be finding out that I'm not crazy or stupid, after all these years.

Hi Janette. Don’t worry about feeling skeptical. That’s how I felt when I first encountered these types of tracks back in 2005. The isochronic tones session I’ve used on this track loops in repeated cycles. So it’s ok to come back where you left it before or start from the beginning again. Either way will be ok.
