Now is a good opportunity to stand up for your son. He’s brand new at editing, did a great job, and many of us like the styling. You might lose a few, but sad to say… there are times when people will leave because they are not comfortable with something. “The one thing that will never change is people complaining about change”

People come and go anyway on all channels for all kinds of reasons. I love the way your son is so creative with the edits. One creative suggestion (from a 63 year old you tuber and viewer of loads of videos), I have found myself trying to just keep up with the picking segments in between the "fun stuff" additions he has added. Those graphic additions give a lot of texture, great laughs, etc to the video and need to stand out. My suggestion, he may want to slow down the picking sections just a tiny bit so the viewer can catch up mentally while viewing. If the video has that much movement in the picking sections (because frankly that is the way you pick, fast!), it creates kind of a "strobe" for old folks like me and has no senses "recovery". I know this might not make much sense, but I feel like he would want to know how to improve especially if he is already sooo good at this. Bottom line, LOVE the editing style, love laughing all the way through. Elijah, you got this, it will only improve!

I feel bad that life is stressful right now for you. I’ve been there. Glad you made the decision to fix the car. That is one big stressor off your plate. Just think of how much fun you will have with Cary and Dawn next week. It’s something great that you are looking forward to. About the shipping on the low price golf clubs, just charge $2.99 or $3.99 to ship. Most reasonable people won’t bat an eye at that low price of shipping. They will probably feel like they are getting a great deal and be happy to pay it.

He is trying to get that partial refund and probably has no plan to return the item. I typically let them do the return and majority does not mail it back, especially 31 days later and ebay closes it out once they hit miss the shipping deadline.

I did the timing belt on my car last year. It was definitely a bit stressful. It has an interference engine so if things aren’t lined up properly when you put on the belt things can go sideways fast. Though half of the stress was unscrewing rusty bolts on a northeastern car, which your dad won’t have to worry about.

Extra shipping $ refunds are the 3rd rail on youtube reselling channels! I take offers on my listings which reinforces your position even more. I used to do impromptu refunds when I was still using Paypal and accidentally refunded the full amount once. The good thing about replacing your own brake pads is you don't have to resurface or replace the rotors. If you replace the pads as soon as you hear noise, you shouldn't need to do anything to the rotors. I think auto mechanics say the rotors need resurfacing or replacement because it makes them more money.

@ADHDave, I'd reach out to ebay and ask them about this. Bring to their attention that you had told them prior to purchase that it didn't come with that, and ask them to step in on this return. Ask them to look at the messages. I'd call them if possible; not just open a ticket. It's very possible that they will close the return for you. They might pay the person back themselves, but I doubt that you will have to bear the cost.
