I was diagnosed with this 6 months ago. The most painful thing l have gone through in my life. Physical therapy does not help, but l have had to go through it for insurance purposes. I am finally approved for surgery and l pray it works. I have been unable to work, sleep or do daily activities with pain.

Thanks sir. Let me ask you a question please. What dou you think about the hydrodilatation treatment with agresive isotonic fluid injection in shoulder joint? Have you ever tried it to your patient and how was the result? Regards from Turkey.

I was diagnosed with this in my left shoulder. I have Dupuytren's in my left hand. Two Doctors said that it is unrelated. I found that hard to believe. Finally, here's a Doctor that mentions the correlation.

I had this thing for 8 years, then it changed into a different chronic pain that I belive is for life. You never really recover totally from Adhesive Capsulitis. It's really damaging.

I injured my right shoulder in Sept 2021 and currently have this problem. MRI with Ortho shows no possible tears on the labrum or rotator cuff. It’s painful reaching for things, it feels like my biceps with tear, it’s extremely painful lifting my arm to the side. I have had a cortisone shot with no improvement pain and physical therapy for the past 8 months hasn’t improve mobility or pain. I have also developed a spasm of the shoulder which I call my Tourette shoulder. I am frustrated beyond believe!

I've had two frozen shoulders. The 1st lasted 24 months, the 2nd lasted 18 months. Incredibly painful and from my experience there is no treatment that helps at all... except time, a long time. You will find many practitioners who claim they can help your frozen shoulder. If you believe in them, then maybe the placebo effect will help you. That's your only hope. If you want to save some money and still get the placebo effect, try some of those laughable homeopathic drops. But you need to be a believer or it doesn't work. If you're a cynic like I am, or if you believe in science instead of witchcraft, then prepare yourself for 18-24 months of agony.

@@opentrunk me too, as in both shoulders, about 3 yrs apart, for no apparent reason. I am active and garden alot, so I do use my muscles. It took me a year for both shoulders, first my right then my left. The left much in worse as in pain and in healing. Had to do cortizone shot for the left.. now I fractured my radial head on my right elbow just 3 months ago from a fall on concrete. Had to have surgery. The frozen shoulder was much more painful! I'm working hard on the physical therapy for the range of motion but it is slow going...I'm 60 now..I hope than in a year I'll be healed again.

@@teresasugden466 Interesting, thanks. No apparent reason is right. It's a total mystery to you, me, and all the experts. There has to be some specific cause just waiting to be discovered. Nobel Prize to the person who figures it out! (Good luck with you elbow)

Yeah, I’d give anything for a good nights sleep and to be able to wipe my ass like I used to! Just imagine wiping with the opposite hand that you’ve been used to your whole life! This injury has thrown my life into complete turmoil. I have lost so much including family and now a bit of my sanity. I can’t take the pain anymore. I have fought so hard just to get a doctor to listen to me it’s never about the pain. It’s only about the medication that I’m on. apparently there’s a time limit cap on my medication, but not my pain. imagine living in the world where you’re lumped into a category created by drug addicts only to be denied help from every physician you pour your heart out to!
