There is an abandoned house in Woodstock, NY that looks exactly like this with woods that look exactly like those woods. Same driveway. I seriously thought they filmed there at first because everyone films around this area, but then saw it was Japanese. Weird coincidence!

Thanks to the KZbin algorithm these episodes were suggested to me! I must say all of them are simply brilliant! Amazing cinematography, great acting, great plot and stunning CGI. The only critique is unless they contaminated the underground aquafiers that water shouldn’t hurt them. Maybe after a couple of rain cycles the aquifers underground would be contaminated. But that house in the woods is not connected to a public water infrastructure in reality
