Hi Howard , I can't stop watching this video again and again . Regarding to adapt the lesson if we need to , my question is for how long you adapt the lesson ? For the hall hour lesson or test , or until the pupil gets developed in that topic which could be less than the time planned for lesson so we need to go back to our agreed lesson ? And how you can identify the fault that need just analysing and fixing instead of adapting the lesson ? Sorry for long text , thank you.

Great video Howard. Quick question regarding Risk Management. The final area 'was sufficient feedback given to help the pupil understand any potentially safety critical incident' - what happens if there isn't a safety critical incident to give feedback on? Do you score 0 for that element then?
@001powerzone4 жыл бұрын
Lesson goals and needs, you say its not always what THEY want, what if you are doing roundabouts on your part 3 and your pupil has got used to doing left turns, you think to now push them to do ahead and right turns but they do not want to as they like to get it spot on with lefts first, they are the kind of person who likes to go over the same thing over again till THEY feel happy to move on, its what happened to me on part 3 so got low points for lesson planning, didn't help having 20 min for the test. Thanks for the video.
@How-2-drive4 жыл бұрын
The examiner needs to see learning take place, the pupil should be on the edge of their comfort zone, pushing the boundaries, growing in confidence. What the pupil wants isn’t necessarily what they needs. Encourage them to take on more responsibility.. The lesson should be client centred, not client led. The instructor should be in control of the lesson.
@001powerzone4 жыл бұрын
@@How-2-drive Thank you for the reply, "the pupil should be on the edge of their comfort zone" is good advise" and "client centred, not client led" I hear so many people use the saying about not letting a new driver go on a motorway, but never heard anything with teaching people more if that is what they want.

Hello, can you do a lesson on effective use of mirrors with an FLH? Thank you.
@How-2-drive5 жыл бұрын
Yes you can as long as the pupil you chosse needs this lesson. You would need to include more content than just mirrors for a 1 hour lesson. Conduct a driving assessment and agree some training onjectives, mirrors can be one of them. You MUST correct what is in front of you on the day, so be prepared to adapt your lesson plan.

Hi Howard, that was a great video and very helpful. I have my part 2 test in a few weeks which I am feeling quite confident about. Once I have passed the part 2 I will go down the pink licence route but the thing that worries me the most is route planning. I haven't lived in my current area for very long so don't know which routes would be suitable for nursery, intermediate and advanced training, especially in towns I haven't spent much time driving around in. Hi Howard, I've been taking classes with Chilleddriving tuition here in Norwich and they have been just playing with me, they have changed my test 2 times as their convenience, their administrative people are rude, the second time they changed my test, they asked me to do the mock test one month earlier and asked to moved it nearest the date of the new exam and they said they couldn't do it. When I was on my way to the test, they called me to say that they cancelled my mock test because the instructor was on his way with another student, so I didn't go and I asked them to move the mock test, when then sent the email they asked me to pay 60 pounds more!!!! I had already paid for it and 25 hours for lessons, I just feel very disappointed and scammed with this school, I need to pass the exam for work and I am now on the risk because I have postpone this exam 2 times because of them :( this is not a serious company.
