Lateral side typically would compress more over use with most strides. People typically land on the outside of their foot and roll inward through their stride. So, the initial impact and load on the foam would happen on the rear outside of the shoe. So, with shoes that have more than 200 or so miles on them I would expect the durometer reading on that part of the shoe to be higher than on the inside or further forward in the shoe.

Have been waiting for a review on the Adidas Pro 3 and I'm hoping to get a pair, as well as the Takuma Sen 8. Going for a change in brand and Adidas are looking on top of their game at the moment. My favourite sports team is, and will always be Millwall. A working class football (soccer) club in South London. This is where my family roots lay. From my grandad, my dad and now me and my children. I now live in Sydney, but Millwall and London will forever be in my blood.

I own the AA Pro 2 and if the third version has added width for stability then that will be a much needed improvement. The second version can be noticeably wobbly if you are fatigued or running on uneven pavement.

@@benanastasoff8980 Asics has no cutouts and the metaspeed edge+ is exactly the same weight in my size as the aaapro3, the sky is even lighter. Saucony their new foam feels way more responsive adidas just falling of the boat again.

@@fabsterun good to know. I’ve loved the first gen of the endorphin pro. I was lucky enough to get both with massive discounts. I am yet to try ASICS, but I certainly want to. It’s just difficult to spend $250 for a shoe when I already know another shoe at that price (or less) works well for me.

"Chunky" midsole shoes like the Adios Pro 3 and the Alphafly NEXT% 2....I think any one thqat' bothered by the LOOK ...has been "mislead". In that the midsole appears "chunkier" than it is due to the way they shaped medial side and didnt really shape the other side....on the Pro 3. On the Alphafly....they decided to have a "decoupled" look...making it appear like two large masses. It's not like the midsole protrudes out around the upper by an inch :)) Or even half an inch. The midsoles just dont have the sape ofa Vaporfly or a Peg 39, Sacony Guide 15...etc... But again....I guess any one considering a Adios Pro 3 or Nike Alphafly NEXT ^& 2 deosn't care about the "look".... so...I'm just rambling :)
