Edd I am still using the Adidas Adios Adizero Pro 2 , I think that is a fantastic shoe , purchased at discount from one of your monthly reviews. I am not the faster runner ever , simply I am Mr. Joe Average , but recorded my fastest 10K this year at the weekend in the Famous Redcar Running Festival . You need to get yourself here next year and set a PB in which ever distance you fancy(5K,10K,HM) . But the Pro 2 is great , so when the Pro 3 goes to a discount price I will be after that next. Keep up the good work EDD , from your friends in the North

Great comparison video. Got my Adios pro 3s for 40% off. I was looking for another model but at that price I snapped up another half marathon to marathon racer. Used if for my half Ironman race recently and loved the comfort and responsiveness of the shoe. I swapped out the laces tho. That would be the only downside to this shoe and across the adidas line up.

Fantastic video as always, and I was surprised that Puma got the nod. My request for a video is this: putting aside versatility, durability, and price, which shoe would you choose for a marathon? I agree the Vaporfly isn’t too versatile, but that’s not what matters to me when choosing a marathon race shoe. … You could even do your favorite race show for each distance from 5k up to marathon. I’m sure these stellar ideas have never occurred to you, and naturally I’ll be expecting a producer credit ;-)

For me all day I thoroughly, thoroughly, really enjoy the adidas adios adizero pro 3 over all others , I cannot say about the puma fastr as I don’t have them , but probably adidas as they are so versatile, I think with the sen 8, prime x adidas have a superb line up for quick versatile shoes

Liking the CCR recommendation! I’m use learning guitar and there’s a few of their songs that I’m working towards 😀 I suppose I should something shoe related while I’m on… I always used to buy Adidas shoes and then it felt like they had got obsessed with celeb tie-ins while other brands were innovating. It’s great to see they’re back to making great running shoes. Just got a pair of Prime X Strung and might well look at the Pro 3 as a next purchase 😊

I had the Vaporfly next% 2 and every time I'd go runs longer that 3 miles the arc part of my foot would start getting poked at which would get worse the longer I run. I really tried to like it but it was getting to painful. I had to return and get a refund.That's also the reason I didn't get the Alphaflys, tried them on at the Nike store and that was the 1st thing I felt poking at the arc of my feet. I almost use the adizero pro 3 for most of my runs.

Put the Metaspeed sky plus through its paces in the Melbourne marathon, no issues with the shoe at all! Feels like a perfect shoe to me, obviously everyone is different and usually agree with your findings Ed, but that one shoe is top for me!

Would you recommend the adizero adios pro 3 or the metaspeed sky plus for heavy runners (85kg)? You mentioned the firmness of the metapseed, maybe an advantage for the extra weight, do you have any recommentations? Never had problems with shoes of those two brands.

Pro 3. It’s more stable and less compressive but the rods make it a snappy ride.

@@EDDBUD well they look the same but there are some big differances. There is more drop in the edge and also there is a differance im the placing of the plate compared by the two shoes. So i was curious if you knew the differance will make the edge more suiting for long distance racing/training.

I liked the Adidas pro 2 better. was softer. using pro 3 now for most runs. I do prefer the alpha fly and Adidas x. just ordered Saucony pro 3. so you really didn't give a decisive review. Nice comparisons Edd..I have all shoes but I haven't run in the puma fastr yet..acquired a hip issue from a couple of higher drop shoes that I can't stop trying to make work for me..of the ones you compared the alphafly is definitely the most reliable and runner friendly for me..the others have some redeeming qualities but only the alphafly has all the things that work for me at any distance..hopefully I will get to use the puma fastr soon and see if it compares to the alphafly..good to see you are doing better 👍 😀

Very interesting video. I love the Vaporfly but they are very unstable at low speed that there are a few roads I need to avoid.. Alphafly V1 is not a good option because I am a heel striker and I need to tip toe in them and it shredded my calf.. So.. It the Adios Pro 3 more stable in the heels? Suit for slow runs?

Slightly different feel from each. The Vaporfly is more brittle and like packing foam. The adidas feels a bit more like a shoe!

Got a pair of these Pro 3s last week, it's definitely cheating, so I rushed to TKMax (on a hint) and managed to get a pair of Pro 2s for 49 earth credits! The Pro 3s were 220! But, the Pro 3s are faster, without a doubt. I'm only 3 months into running and trying loads of shoes but now that I've run in these it's really hard to run in anything else. Oh and CCC at the Albert Hall sounds amazing 😁

It is deep and measured and not like that annoying london accent which they overplay. similar to how yankees overdo that southern accent. ---------------- The brits were tremendous. when they go to work nobody comes close.
