It has now been a couple of weeks since the adidas YEEZY line saw its most recent reboot as adidas continues to sell its remaining inventory from its now-defunct partnership with Ye. With multiple drops now having taken place, Ye’s statement calling out “fake colorways that are not approved [by him],” has created a divide amongst fans of the line.
As a result of the controversy, several of these releases remain in stock up to 12 days after launching, an unfamiliar sight for silhouettes like the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2. However, the re-release of the adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR in “Onyx” came and went quickly, with this new “MX Granite” pair hoping to replicate its success. The newly-unveiled design sees the familiar slip-on silhouette carry various gray hues that have been blended with the YEEZY line’s signature “MX” treatment.
For those interested in picking up a pair of this “MX Granite” iteration of the adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR, it is currently scheduled to release on March 15 at 10am EDT via a drawing on adidas’ Confirmed platform at a starting price of $90 USD. Foam runners have always had differing shapes especially the Mx models. The cream clay is a little flatter, the MX cinder is a littler more angular, & the MX Carbon is also a little rounder. Even with the Onyx the OG had a hump over the mid foot while this new version is sleeker. I think we should just enjoy our Yeezys

Going back after everyone started talking about it (mine haven't arrived yet) to the confirmed app it's plain to see when you're looking for it that they are the more rounded shape on there as well. Adidas didn't hide it just no one noticed, including myself. Is what it is I guess.

I guess since the toe box is the most overtly noticeable difference at first glance, which is why it’s the biggest taking point with these …. But you’re right, there are a few small differences across the whole foam itself.

They said to go a full size up which wasn't true for these batches of RNRS. Mines slide off my heal. Not 100% happy with the blk Onyx. I say go true to size.

Just sharing my personal experience. i bought the mx granite. And i loved the colorway. i really tried to look past the rounded toe but i really couldn't. They butchered the overall classic shape and look of the foam runner. Traded my pair away for mx cinders and absolutely love the cinders. That minor detail at the front really made a huge difference for me as my first pair of foam runners. Also i agree, they look like clown shoes because of the toebox. (and my small calves)

Half size up I’m a 8.5 and a 9 fits me perfect but keep in mind you have to break them in almost gave mine away because I thought they didn’t fit but after a few wears they are the most comfortable shoes I have

Let's face it the foam runner isn't the most appealing, but they are very comfortable & I'm wearing mine as I type this. Would I buy them again, yes it's a matter of fact I oredered another pair, in case they don't sell them again. When buying I would order true to size, I went a full size & they fit little big, I put them in the dryer for 5 minutes & they fit perfect now

@@TheUrbanAlien247 They fit good & my feet aren't sliding around in them anymore, I'm not going to lie I was a little nervous, because they were brand new. If you decide to try the dryer to shrink them, get a small dish towel & get it wet not dripping wet, then put the wet towel the foam runners & a couple of dry towels in the dryer on high heat for a couple of minutes @ a time. After the specified time take them out & let them cool before trying them on. I think this would also work to stretch them, just put two layers of socks on & put the foam runners on as soon as you take them out of the dryer & let them cool on your feet.

I got both and yes MX are trash. Huge difference in my size. I am a size 12 but 12.5 in yeezys. So I had to get a 13. Straight clown shoes. Disappointing first foams.

But I think you have a flawed view of the situation … First off, Kanye was “part” of a design team within adidas, he was not the sole creator/artist of all Yeezys to ever exist, this is well documented … secondly, HE breached the contract which fractured the relationship between him and adidas, so HE screwed HIMSELF over … and Thirdly, adidas already had contracts with production factory’s to produce these shoes before Ye and them broke up, so the shoes were getting made regardless …. So with all that in mind, the only logical thing for a company to do is try and attempt to recoup that spent money by selling what they produced … I understand that Kanye West dick riders will never understand basic business but TRUST ME, Ye would be doing the EXACT SAME thing to adidas if the roles were reversed, I promise you that … anyways, have a good one man and continue boycotting adidas if that makes your life better and gives you a purpose. 💯

Kanye straight up said in a video that they dismantled his creative team while he was still with them and they started making fake non approved colorways. Let’s remember, Kanye forced adidas to end the deal … he broke company policy and went against their values … a contract is a legally binding document, when you break a contract there are consequences … just like if you break your apartment lease, or if you stop paying your car payment ….
