Japan invaded in 1937, Burma wasn’t a separate state until 1939, Danzig was its own country just under Polish influence, Algeria should be part of France because France annexed it in 1834 same for Korea because Japan didn’t just “occupy it” it fully annexed it as part of Japan. Mengjiang is missing as an independent state. (It was a Japanese puppet/colony state.) and Ecuador has its modern borders instead of 1936 borders. Xinjiang could be its own country on the map but that just depends if you considered it as its own independent state.

Burma was still part of British India until 1937, so I guess it's pretty ambiguous if you count this video taking place over multiple years. Or maybe that just doesn't count idek Danzig (Gdańsk) was a Free City under the protection of the League of Nations from 1920 to 1939, not its own country. It had a predominantly German population but was under Polish influence. Ecuador's borders in 1936 were largely similar to its modern borders, so if the map shows modern borders, it should be accurate in that regard. Xinjiang was under the control of the Republic of China (Kuomintang government) in 1936, so it would likely be depicted as part of China on a map of that time. However, considering it as its own independent state is a possibility given its historical/ethnic composition. also he coloured in the wrong yemen im pretty sure 😭

Before anyone says anything about me overanalyzing this, or that I didn't need to do this, I know, I was bored and am a major history nerd, so I did it anyways, please do correct me if I was wrong with any of this information. I also love Adizz's videos, and what he does is awesome to me, so I hope no hate is felt. Some things I noted during this video: 1:18 You're one year off, Japan, along with its puppets invaded China during 1937, some people may think WW2 started off in 1936 because of Hearts of Iron 4 {HoI4, as I will continue to call it,} which has its primary start date on January 1st, 1936. 2:06 I would personally disagree with this, as Serbia was the ruling nation/peoples of Yugoslavia, but I do agree that Romania would be in NATO, as Moldova would most likely be scared of Russia bordering them, and Ukraine already wants to join NATO in real life. 2:28 "...apparently we have micronations now." While you're not technically wrong with that, all of those existed during WW2. 2:46 Lebanon did not exist in 1936, it was part of the "Mandat pour la Serie et le Liban" (English: Mandate for Syria and the Lebanon), this did however change in 1946, when they were split up, if you were going for the states of the French mandate {I highly doubt that}, you would instead, have to also include the Alawite state, the State of Aleppo, the State of Damascus, the Jabal Al-Druze State, and possibly also the Sanjak of Alexandretta [but that was established in 1945, splitting off from the State of Aleppo] 3:18 You approach Korea by not approaching it at all, it was de jure part of the Japanese Empire's core territory (not a colony or puppet state as they had in {bear with me, I took these names from HoI4,} Manchukuo, and Mengkukuo [which is not on this map, and did exist in 1936]). 3:28 France directly ruled over Algeria at that point and thought of it as part of their homeland (as the Japanese Empire did with Korea). 4:39 The U.S. directly controlled the Panama Canal and much of the area around it, but it was treated as a territory, so I'll say your map isn't exactly inaccurate there. 4:40 Another debatable one is that Ecuador and Peru had issues about what land who controlled, which was settled later, but Ecuador did have more influence over some land that is now Peruvian, so I'll give your map a maybe on accuracy there. 5:01 Chad was part of French Equatorial Africa back in 1936, but I do not know what name it would take if it was released as its land was. 5:11 While Spain did control that land at the time (then called Spanish Morocco), it was viewed as a protectorate, and not as part of the Spanish homeland, unlike Korea was for the Japanese, and Algeria was for the French, so if you were to include any of those, this would be the least sensible option. 5:14 I have no clue as to where that border came from, as the closest border at the time was between two Spanish colonies called Río de Oro and Saguia El-Hamra, which ran parallel to the (northernmost north-south border that runs east-west) between Mauritania (then in French West Africa) and {now} Western Sahara. I also am confused about Morocco having its post-colonial border with Saguia El-Hamra [or whatever you want to call the northern segment of Western Sahara]. 5:20 I think this was supposed to be the border between Río de Oro and Saguia El-Hamra, but to the south for some reason, as to why it was moved south, I have no clue. 5:30 - 5:44 I'm not sure how realistic this would be, especially as Liberia had been independent for over half a century before the West African Union (I guess this is what we're calling it) would be formed in this timeline {I based this off of 1866-1936, but if he means this magically happens in 2024, my point is changed}. 5:49 Myanmar (Burma during 1936) was part of the British Raj {Indian Empire} until 1937, it could be argued, however, that the lieutenant governments were all separate entities, but that would mean that all of them would have to be split up, which is simply unrealistic, and makes no sense, as they were all governed collectively. 5:58 I'm not 100% sure with this, but I'm pretty sure that the Yemeni Civil War is similar to this separation, and that the Supreme Presidential Council (SPC), Yemeni Armed Forces, & Houthi (Irani backed?) governments/government is in Northern Yemen, and the other governments {supported by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and others} would make up Southern Yemen. In simpler terms, you could say the original Yemeni government is Southern Yemen, and the SPC's group is the Northern Yemeni Government. You could also ditch the Civil War idea, and just make them both the original Yemeni government (which would have little need to be two separate states). 7:05 This would change NATO to become some other name for the same alliance, as it would neither be strictly Atlantic, and the joining of southern states would remove its northern-only policy. 7:09 I'm not sure which of the three governments would take power in French Indochina, but each of them might have a different choice of who to/not to join. 7:20 For this case in particular, Morocco would have a feud with Spain anyways, as before it was taken over by Spain and France, Morocco held all of that northern land anyways (which is why Morocco and Spain have a feud in real life as well {Spain never gave back some of the land}). Side note, since Algeria was a core territory of France, Algeria would probably never join CSTO, as it would already be in NATO, which would make Morocco very likely to join CSTO [especially as France and Spain colonized them, and they would hate both of those for that]. 8:35 This is technically one way to avoid it, but realistically, the British Empire already had disobeyed agreements set between themselves and the Arabs, so it may be that either they give no land to form a Palestinian state, or they also disobey the agreements they set with the Zionists, which in both cases would either make the nation plunge into chaos, or would make the nation hate the British so much, that they join CSTO. 11:38 The Russians would not be threatening the Polish capital (Warsaw) much, as it is a decent way west of that frontline. 11:45 Bucharest (the Romanian capital) is way further west than that frontline. 13:27 That offensive would take Bucharest. 13:32 Warsaw would still not be taken, as it is at least another brush stroke away from even being at the frontline. 13:50 Indeed that is the Aegean Sea, but I have only heard it pronounced as the (uh-gee-an) sea. 14:45 The land that was taken there contains all of modern day Kaliningrad. 14:48 Finally, Warsaw would be taken. 14:57 That is a term I've only heard said referring to HoI4 before. 15:33 That "nowhere" is most likely Siberia, Central Asia, Ukraine, the Caucuses, and quite possibly Belarus too. 15:46 You are only correct in Bucharest being lost, as you painted further east as well as west. 17:11 Warsaw is already taken, as it lies way further west than that frontline. I would also like to say, I have no idea what types of governments would be in the new independent nations like French Guiana (Free Guiana?), French West Africa {West African Union, as you called it}, and especially Manchukuo. It would be interesting to see how the war in the Middle East would've been changed if the British Mandate for Palestine [whatever you want to call it] would've joined CSTO and fought NATO.

Let's be realistic. Algeria always loses territory to Morocco or Nigeria together. Algeria is stronger than all the countries of the Maghreb combined, and even in terms of the navy, it is 14th in the world. So, most likely, Algeria will occupy Morocco in a few days, then end the matter of Spain and Portugal, and will be defeated against France if we are realistic.
