(Paula keeps her hats in three large new triangular green boxes.) Mam in this sentence we use comma in all adjectives because all the adjectives are of different function
@TheMindspringsEnglishTeacher3 жыл бұрын
The rule for commas is to see if you can interchange the adjectives. e.g. if i change to: triangular three large new boxes will it be ok? So i know i cannot change the position of three in this sentence so no comma after three. But 3 (new large triangular green) or (green new large triangular) seem ok. They are interchangeable. Hence. you can put commas after them, except the last adjective before boxes.

mam pls help me with adjective of quantity and indefinite number \
@TheMindspringsEnglishTeacher3 жыл бұрын
They are the same but usage can be different. Quantity is that which cannot be counted e.g. much water, great amount of pain, enough groceries etc. Whereas indefinite number does not tell you exactly what number. e.g. a few girls, several men, many birds, lots of people etc. where if it were definite, we can substitute it with a number like thousand, two, sixteen etc.

Jhootha glass / jhootha khana meaning in English?
@TheMindspringsEnglishTeacher5 жыл бұрын
In English, the nearest translation of the word 'jhoota' with food is 'sullied'. It is never used in English speaking cultures. They would use the word 'spoilt' for food that going bad. Lekin 'jhoota' yeh shabd is not sada hua khana. Yeh shabd caste ya jaat paat se juda hai, jo unke culture me nahi hai. Sullied means ganda ya brasht karna... so I think that suits 'jhoota' nearest in translation.
