Try adding a shut off on the hose right before attaching it to the sprinkler. Makes things easier. Then you can easily set things up. Works well for me.

I believe if the water pressure is too low it won’t lift enough and spin. The sprung stops on the bottom may be getting it stuck because of no lifting.

For all you folks who got wet - get a turn off valve where the hose attaches! Also saves a lot of running back and forth to the faucet.

Thanks for the great demonstration! Taking care of my neighbors newly planted grass and huge beautiful garden, he left 4 of these sprinklers to be rotated in 8 different places. When I saw what type of sprinkler it was I said to myself "Lois you are in deep doodoo!" They are 3 different models but luckily all Orbit Sprinklers. (Smart guy my neighbor). This is so helpful! I have an issue that isn’t addressed. My sprinkler is leaking where it attaches to the stand. Seems like it’s as tight as it can be. Any ideas how to adjust it? It makes a huge puddle and I’m watering a horse arena.

I've had this sprinkler for maybe 1-2 years, and it worked great. I only use one sprinkler for the front of the house at about 90 degrees. I started to have problems with it when it stopped rotating, ,and would just shoot the water straight and long. I barely used it as we had rain, so pretty much forgot about it. Now it's just barely producing any lengthy stream, maybe 10 ft..if. THe water pressure is still the same, above average. It used to work great when I bought it.

Hello, this sounds like there could be some obstruction in the sprinkler head. you may want to check that by sticking a small object in there to clear it out (the end of hanger often fits). Very helpful. I'm wondering WHY the sprinkler didn't just come with instructions though...I had NO idea how to adjust it before watching this video. Although the video is way more helpful than drawn or written instructions would be I'M SURE, something would have been better than nothing. Yeah! I solved my problem. The head was clogged. I was able to get a wire to go all the way through and now it works. Sorry for the interruption.

Thanks for the instructions. I always get drenched trying to set up a, new to me, brand of these arc spike sprinklers. And I just did. Heh. Anyways, I adjusted the diffuser screw to make the flow gentler and shorter. The arc was quite small, about 40-50 degrees. And the little guy just stopped turning and froze in position after about 2 or 3 back and forths. I don’t have time right now to work on it, got to start the grill now. But I thought to throw you a line and ask if there is a known problem with tight little arc settings? Thank you. Jaynie

Mine was working perfectly & has been for awhile now, then when I went out to water this morning it all the sudden has no water coming out of the nozzle. Tried several different hoses, & yes my water is on, lol. What could of caused this to work perfectly the night before & now nothing? Thx so much! I actually love this product this so much that after my Former gardener took mine, I immediately didn't hesitate to go buy another. And I have a drawer of purchased sprinklers that go there to die bc they are awful or break. But this one just doesn't belong in that drawer... it's never failed me, & I'm thinking it has to be something simple. Any thoughts?

Is the spiket it’s self suppose to raise up while shooting water? Mine leaves a puddle under the tripod where is leaks so much. Also mine doesn’t change directions, when it hits the metal piece it doesn’t have enough force to switch the switch

My sprinkler is a few years old. This year the time it takes to cycle about 180 degrees seems to take forever (maybe 10 minutes). Water pressure is good. Could the spring be worn?
