Want to adjust the cut pile height of your KRD-1? Don't worry as it is very easy. All you need is some tape measure and a hex screwdriver. The KRD-1 can be adjusted to have a cut pile height of 6 mm to 21 mm.

@@CustomKleed the speed is adjustable via a dial next to the power-cable on the bottom. Just twist it left or right for faster, slower.

@@kavazarigaming6921 make sure the backing cloth is drum tight on your frame, keep enough pressure on the gun when tufting, and try two strings of yarn instead of one.

Thanks for the video! One thing worth mentioning is that you may also need to adjust the scissor-opening mechanism, in this case by moving it back slightly away from the needle. If you don't do this, it may try to open the scissors too wide and cause them to rub excessively against the inside of the needle.

Did that, thanx for showing, but now the yarn is super lose on the fabric. Even though I applied the same pressure, the backing is as tight on the frame as before. What went wrong? The scissor closes up front as shown.

Hi, in the description you wrote that it could tuft between 6 mm to 21 mm in height but I think you mean 12 mm

you're from europe. I want one but they're all US plugs. Will my machine break if I use a simple US to EU plug converter?

The EU tufting guns (220v) and US (120v) both use the same china/us plug, so you always need a converter in the EU. We include this with every order.

It comes as cut pile out of the box, and with the tools to swap the scissor for the loop element. Video about it coming in a few days!

Im having a problem where my scissors dont cut , they only move in and out of the machine and it gives me a loop instead ... any idea how I could fix this ??

1:36 shows the metal bar that you can adjust. When your scissor element hits that it closes and cuts.
