Just coming out of nowhere but I'm a Nift Mumbai student and it's totally on your interests. whatever your interest is you should do that. if you're tilted towards designing go for that if you're more into Technology go into that. I did the same worked greatly for me.

Hello! On my offer letter, it had some conditions I needed to meet. One of them was my Final transcript submission because I didn’t graduate high school yet. But, my problem was that on the offer letter, there weren't any specific GPA requirement I had to maintain for the rest of my grade 12 high school subjects. Do you know anything about this conditions regarding how much GPA I should maintain and would my admission be rescinded if my GPA gets lower?

I have a question, hope it makes sense 😁 You said the first few rounds of selection at NIFT (checking of SGPA, written test, etc) are only to determine if you’re ELIGIBLE to apply. And the actual selection will be based on FIT’s own procedure. So does that mean when we apply to FIT, we’ll be treated as any other regular applicant and will be competing not only against NIFT students but everyone worldwide who applies to that particular AAS program?

Yes pretty much! FIT has this exchange programme with a bunch of schools all over the world and within USA too. So yes, you would be judged like any other student :)

If I were to try applying to FIT after I graduate, would it make sense to apply for an associates’ degree in communication design, a different field altogether? Because that’s something I’m equally passionate about. Also, I don't really wanna study FD again, after four whole years at NIFT. Do you think joining communication would be of any value or should I just stick to fashion design?
