Hi VIkrant, How would you see the current situation now in Germany?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany3 жыл бұрын
Hi! The situation has improved a lot, and is essentially back to normal. Whatever economic impacts still remain of COVID should be covered by the time a student’s course is finished. So I suggest that this is the time to apply and come for studies 🙂

Recovery rate in Germany (68k) is greater than the people who are getting affected(58k). So there will be no problem for people who will be starting their masters now. In 2 years after their masters situation will improve. Students should do masters to study not to always care about part time jobs. So stop worrying about part time jobs and focus on studies. Later that will be useful in getting a job even tough there is a competition. This suggestion is for all.
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany4 жыл бұрын
I agree to the suggestion, but I have known many students who simply could not afford to live in Germany without a part time job. And even though the recovery rate is better than the infection rate, it’s a matter of how long the economy is closed. Till the numbers go back to negligible, the economy won’t be back at its 100%. That’s just my perspective

Hey even i am planning to cancel the offer if deferring by an year is not possible but i am just afraid if i cancel it now will i be able to again get admission to the same University. Or will they reject as i have cancelled the previous offer.?

That is really a question directly for the university/course administration. They’ll be able to give you accurate information. But if you work hard in this year, you’ll even have a chance at a better university next year.

Hi Vikrant, Good sound advice but winter 2020 should be ok for MSc given it'll take 2-3 years atleast to graduate. By that time things will definitely be good in Germany and EU. But then again I guess u were referring to part time jobs from Indian students perspective. Given how numbers r decreasing if situation normalizes by June is it ok to proceed with my MSc. I've already delayed it quite a lot. Please let me know.

Hey Vikrant, Thank you for the information. When you talk about financial issues like part-time jobs during studies at RWTH Aachen, do you believe this to be difficult or impossible? My question is do job opportunities are better for students who do german taught courses compare to English taught? As I have enough time to improve my language, I already started learning German language and I am going to finish my a1 level soon. So,what do u suggest me ? & What are the courses with good opportunities in mechanical stream in coming future? Hope u answer my questions?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany4 жыл бұрын
The course language doesn’t matter for jobs. It matters how good the person speaks the language in interview. And also, there are many more courses in German than in English.
