The person was far from the camera shooting video, and I imagine the character in this video looked like that. Anyway, when I was looking into explainer videos, Character Animator came up often, but it looked too intimidating. But you've made it seem reachable. I will watch to see how you use Character Animator, because your videos are great explainer videos.

Not sure about the requirements, I've tried it with a build in webcam on my laptop and a $80 Logitech webcam, both worked great.

Good question. You can export the result as a video, a mp4 for example, and use this in any editing software. Does this answer your question?

Sure, you just need to make this character in Photoshop or illustrator and then assign actions to the puppet in Character Animator. Check the tutorials from Dave (Okay samurai) to learn more.
