Hi, thank you for this great tutorial! I watched other uploader uses local selective, another one uses adaptive...What's differences among those settings: Local perceptual, Local selective, Local adaptive...?

Glad you like it. I don't have a technical answer for you. I have experimented with each option and had the best results with Perceptual. I encourage you to try them all and see what gives you the results you are looking for.

You can only do color reduction and recolor in Illustrator if you are working from a vector image. I cover a little about recoloring in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emqmhatuoJ6ifZo

One question: when I did this on my file everything went fine until I saved it as a JPEG… Do I have to save my indexed color file as a Photoshop document? (I got an error when I tried to open it) Thank you :-)
