ADONAI! Many Petra Music are great rock musics, great christian musics, but not many of them are real praises. This one is just like a praise psalm!

All the Lord says is "Make a Joyful Noise" I will agree some Petra Songs don't always Mention God or Christ By name, like "Angel of Light" on the "Never Say Die" Album, but that song still has it's place. It's a Warning about How Easily the Devil can fool you. Still, Any song that that Glorifies the Lord is a Praise.

Well, that's the Thing, they do have an album called "Petra Means Rock" and that's the Truth, "petra" Or more accurately "Petros" is the Greek word for Rock. It's also where we get the name "Peter" which also means "like a Rock" Christ Renamed Simon (which means To hear, or be heard) to "Peter" He was telling him, You will be "like a rock" or in other words, a firm foundation for others to learn from

Adonai (Sovereign Lord) is the ultimate authority figure in our life and the One to whom we owe our complete allegiance. The first time we find this name for God used in the Bible is in Genesis 15: 1-2 when God is speaking with Abram:
