I've been reading sci-fi for decades. It's delightful to find a new voice and one that is so warm and positive. It takes me back to the hopeful stories of the 60's and 70's. Thank you, Robert Butler and SciFi stories for sharing in an affordable way.

A very enjoyable episode. I learned a lot about the human condition and how some of our gears mesh. The author and the narrator should both keep doing what they are doing. Their words can be a catalyst to an even broader understanding of what makes us tick. Kudos.

This was a surprise. I really didn't think it would be as enjoyable as it truly was. The story just grabbed me and kept me interested.. no wild sci-fi language and crazy space opera nonsense. Just easy language and a natural progression of the story from a characters personal perspective. I'm looking forward for much more.

The insightful analysis of the perversion of the legal system by vindictive privilege, bought with victims' lives, should be required reading for anyone seeking public office or any position of authority. I hope to see at least the beginnings of the long overdue reforms to police and privilege in my lifetime. The portrayal of the resilience, determination, endurance, cohesion of the family unit gives hope that we may someday see past differences and focus on similarities, across the self-imposed divides of country/ethnicity/religion.

A lot of Ai-read HFY stories are... Very hit and miss. Many are painfully uninspired and bland. The casts are cookie cutter and the plot is so generic it's laughable... None of the above applies to this story. This is six hours well-spent.
