How much smaller would the size 3 come out to?

I'm not sure. I have not made one using size 3 yarn yet. I do plan on it though since I am writing a pattern and want to have measurements for both sizes.

Saw the measurements…is this for an adult size? Looks like it would be 22” since you measured side to side 11”…….
