Laid in the hospital after successful surgery. Less than 24 hours since the tumour and gland removed and already there has been significant improvement.

Just 3 days ago I was finally diagnosed with Cushing's Syndrome. I have a pituitary tumor for the 2nd time (had surgery back in 2008 to remove the 1st one). Going for CAT scan to see if there's a tumor in adrenal glands or it's the gland itself. Tests were done to see if it was my pituitary tumor causing high cortisol but it was proven it's not. I've been trying to get some normalcy in my life. I'm tired of gaining weight and I want a normal menstrual cycle. Here's to hoping to get my answers and treatment for it.

@coolluga It sounds like you’ve been on a long and challenging journey, and getting a diagnosis for Cushing's Syndrome is a huge step toward relief and answers. With the CAT scan, you’re one step closer to finding out if the adrenal glands are involved so that targeted treatment can finally bring stability to your health. Hang in there; managing cortisol can make a significant difference in weight, mood, and even restoring a regular menstrual cycle. Wishing you clear answers and the best possible treatment ahead! 🌟

My friend have tumors on the adrenal glands, and she struggle with so much. Loosing hair on the head, growing hair all over the body and also inside the mouth. Loosing teath , lumps under the skin. ( keratin) . There are much more. The doctor says she don't need operation . I don't understand. Why not ????
