@sbzombie69 Mike Portnoy was in this band because metal gets boring, most bands dont get far with metal its rare to see them become well known notice how this band sounded like they came out of the 90's notice how before The Rev died in Avenged Sevenfold the band was drifting away from metal, not everything has to be complicated rhythms just as long as it sounds good thats why Mike Portnoy is always going from one band to another

By NO MEANS does Russell Allen Suck, I've been a Symphony X fan for years and seen them live MANY times with him giving flawless performances that other vocalist couldn't DREAM of achieving, NOW, I also LOVE Adreneline Mob, but I CAN hear that this type of singing is taking a toll on his AMAZING VOICE, But I'm sure that he's stoked, hyped and pushing extra HARD through those pipes, TAKE IT EASY BRO, WE WANT THAT VOICE SOARING FOR YEARS TO COME, But as for "Chroma914" Russell DOES NOT SUCK.....

Like if the singer is mid pitched they don't want the guitar to overpower the vocals because the guitar player is supposed to offer a base for the vocals and bass and so on.. So if they tune the guitar too high you can't hear the singer and the other way around
