I remember seeing that guitar in guitar magazines back in the 80's. It almost looked like a toy, but a very cool one.

My friend who plays drums in our band is going to see the BEAT tour and I can understand why he’s so excited for it (also from being a massive King Crimson fan), Adrian has always been an incredibly innovative guitarist and the stuff he does has always been really damn cool to me

Have loved Adrian since the early days. This Mustang is the reason I bought a Mustang back in the early 80's. They were selling for pennies. I still have mine, though I am now glad I decided NOT to chop up a nice '65 to put a Kahler in it! :)
@ikkenhisatsu71703 ай бұрын
Hang on to that Mustang! I had a Mustang Bass back in 1979-80. Bought it at a pawn shop in Newport News, VA for $75. Pawned it a year later for $75 so I could afford to take my future wife out. I saw one the other day, same vintage, for almost $3000!

I had a ‘72 Mustang and was so tempted to paint it like this! I recently sold it for a fair amount of money. But I think I’ll build myself one. He had two of them with slightly different paint jobs. Anyone remember his instructional video making all those crazy sounds?

@AudioAtmos2 ай бұрын
@@Patrico-tl3md Yes I play guitar and keys. Not as much as I use to, but I still have a small home studio to make some noise. Tony Levin is so cool. I’ve seen the original 80’s and then 90’s line up a good many times. First saw them in the summer of 82’ when I was 17 at the beginning of the Beat tour. Some of the best music I have ever seen. I have always been a huge Bruford fan especially with Crimson, but Danny Carey is incredible, seems like a really cool guy and sounds like he’s filling the position perfectly.

Been a fan of Adrian Below since Zappa tour, when Frank unfairly fired him. His 1st solo and 1st with KC are still favorites, and I breakout Mr. Music Head now and then also. Big Electric Cat and Lone Rhino bring me back to that time, 1st house and all having to be a adult, my dog Rex absolutely loved BEC.
