Where as to Stroll he owns the team, and Newey is looking for that guy in complete control. Also Newey’s way of saying that since Deitrich is gone at RB there’s no more than 1 powerful figure that controls the team.

Not necessarily. Newey is a "value add" to a team, so maybe he wanted to go somewhere where he knows he can undeniably make a huge mark, whereas Ferrari are clearly on to something good already, and with a good head wind and a great driver (lewis) their success is almost assured.

Imagine being Stroll, and first having Vettel as teammate, then Alonso, and then Max. Thats 3 legendary drivers, thats quite a resume for an ''incompetent'' driver. If his father was truly incompetent, he would not put his son against the most difficult opponents. I'l be honest, I don't like Lance's annoying face, but i have nothing against such an awesome father, and support his endavours wholeheartidly.
