Pastor Roger's hits this spot on, especially when he speaks of those who believe in miracles. We see so many of these TV churches were every single program entails so called miracle healing. Those congregations believe in those miracles and not in Christ. These churches are all about wealth and health. They are told that God wills these things for them. No, he actually does not. For His own purposes God allows financial struggle and illness in the lives of some believers. Notice I said He "allows." That's because God does not CAUSE these struggles. I got saved 10yrs ago , i was a drug addict, alcoholic and a child soldier, was abducted by the rebels while still young, when i came back home, i was so rebellious, rough, one day entered my mum's room, was planning to steal some money in order to go buy some alcohol and cigarettes, the newly opened radio station called CALVARY RADIO by then was playing one of Adrian Rogers sermons, i felt something tell me, first listen to this man, when i stopped, i felt something hit my head all i could see was darkness all over the room, i fell down, i found my self crying, i felt a certain sense of guilt in me, which had never happened to me, i was so rude to everything and never cared whatever, i never feared anything, i had seen both blood and death, but the kind of power that hit me, opened my minds and made me feel that guilty, I knelt down, immediately and i heard Adrian say, if anyone is willing to accept JESUS, you could repeat the words after him, i did so without hesitation, from then, my life never remained the same, i started a new life, Now am an evangelist, preaching the good news, i never heard Adrian sermon again for many years till today i found this again on utube.... ❤❤❤❤ Be blessed children of the most high God.

Mr Adrian Rogers passed into heaven in 2005. The same year his dear book "What Every Christian Ought To Know, Da by Day" It is a beautiful book

This November I will have been saved 31 years. Not long after I got saved I started listening to Pastor Rogers. I have preached God's word for the past 28 years and I still listen to him so as to get fed. Yes, we all need to be fed. When Pastor Rogers went to be with the Lord in 2005 in one way I was sad. But in another and best way I rejoiced in the Lord for him because I know where he is at. Glory to God, the rewards brother Adrian must have.

Michael, you tell me you ,ve been saved for " 31 " years. But also saying you have preached 28 years. If you were ever converted to Christ, it would not have been listening, to adrian rogers do any sermonizing!

@@garygiff2024 : I said I listened to him. I never said I got any messages from him. ( If that is what you meant.) Also if you look again at my comment you will see that I was saved before I ever listened to Adrian Rogers. As for his sermons, they are not liked by a lot of people today. He preached heaven and hell, living for God or living for Satan. No wishy-washy middle ground like a lot of the new age doctrines. ( Which are not true doctrine because they do not line up with the Word of God.) And he preached Jesus and His cross being the only way to salvation. Not just Adrian Rogers but anyone the preacges by the Word of God aare the ones I will listen to. Also, that is the way I have always preach, by the Word of God. Have a good day sir.
