I have never heard of a project communication plan before but I can immediately see how valuable it could be. Especially even in terms of formating, grammar, and style of writing when dealing with clients or deliverables for clients. Making sure everyone is on the same page with communication.

Hi Adriana, this is very useful and I did create the plan with your help but it doesn’t feel like a very agile practice, I don’t think anyone’s interested in it and I spent a lot of time doing this I.e. going against the Agile principles. Do you agree?
@AdrianaGirdler Жыл бұрын
Your communication plan is how you will communicate with your project stakeholders not how you will execute the tasks. Stakeholders includes your team, steering committee, senior executives, end users and even customers. The communication plan is to organize the project manager and to set up expectation. How you execute the project is different. Use agile principles. If you plan on using agile principles then you have to adjust your communication plan to reflect your daily scrums and any other type of communication you plan on doing. Last, like any plan….it’s only good if you use it. If your team is not following it then ask your self why and adjust accordingly. Cheers.

This is very helpful, thank you. One question; where do you keep the WBS? I'm assuming it's not as detailed as let's say DevOps' tracking would be and it's the basis if the senior leadership update too...is it on SharePoint for the wider audience or just Teams for the core team?
@AdrianaGirdler Жыл бұрын
For my team the WBS is kept in our one drive but it is also linked to our sharepoint site. It's really beneficial to have the WBS somewhere where everyone on the project can access it. The sharepoint site works really well for this. Thanks for watching, cheers!

Andrianna you speak too quickly. As a result it's difficult for us, who are not native English speakers, to understand you. This is something that we have to keep in mind, especially when we talk about successful communication.
@AdrianaGirdler2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback. For one person I may speak too quickly and for another I may speak too slowly. The good news is you can click on the gear icon (settings) and change the playback speed to slower or faster. I also have close captioning you can use too. I hope this helps. Cheers!
