I love that you call out the "accidental" project manager. I'm not one, but I reckon I've done a LOT of project managing in my career (as a psychologist of all things!). So so true. Great tip!

Hi from UK, exceptional video. I’m a wind turbine engineer looking to get into PM within the company I work for ENERCON. I’m completing the application now and this has helped me SO MUCH! Specifically how to shape my day to day fixing turbines experience into valid PM experience I can state on application forms. Many thank yous. 🤗

I work as an IT coordinator for a large company and I run alot of IT projects. Our organization doesn't really run projects according to PMI standards. I recently got my CAPM and I'm kind of fearful to apply for some of these Project Manager jobs out there. This is because I'm fearful of getting on the job and being completely lost. Any advice?
@AdrianaGirdler Жыл бұрын
Congrats on getting your CAPM. You will need to be flexible with what you choose to use. Don’t be fearful. Remember these principles will help you. Check out my practical project management program as it compliments PMI and it will help you pick the right templates to use and when. www.slaypm.com
