This is incredible. Why? It's the first time I've hear of an person speaking zero English mimicking English. It's VERY interesting seeing what words are legible, selected by sound. vs. others vocal patterns which are familiar, but not.... really weird, but cool.

My brother, who passed away last year, spent his last 20-25 years in Italy and really liked Celentano and Zucchero. Anyway he sent this to me about 6-7 years ago and I loved it. Every time I hear it, it sticks in my head for a while. Celantano found brilliance with this one, imitating how English sounded to most Italians. BTW, the woman that stood up in the back, with the white top, that also was playing the harmonica at the end, is his wife, Claudia Mori. There IS another segment that he performs with Raffaella Carra that's danced in a Ballroom. Also BTW, never saw Fargo.

@christopherrobinmarriott72188 ай бұрын
Personally, believe that this song, in a way, hypnotizes the viewer. The Rhythmic swaying. The weird hip movements, not an actual language so you’re not paying attention to the lyrics so much that You’re not FOCUSING on any implied story or poetry so you’re just entranced At the bright colors, the movements and a continuous simple drumbeat with a rock jazz hybrid sound. Love it
