I think you’re spot on with the Aemond, Helaena, and Alicent scenes. Aemond absolutely looks like he would lose his temper with her because she is not interested in war. If ANYTHING, Helaena probably told him he won’t win (cuz she’s seen it) and That set him off to grab her or something.

BOOK SPOILER: Hellena: In the books she spirals after her son's death and eventually commits suicide. This didn't happen on the show so Ithink they will still kill her but battle after Aemond demands it. The rumors about Rhaenyra that making their way to Aemond. I think its council member but also the Club foot that is setting Aemond to die. Just like Otto needed Daemon out the way, Club foot needs Aemond out the way. So sending him out there against more dragons that he doesn't know about is part of his plan to get Aemond killed.

To be fair to Aemond, the Greens really have no chance of victory without the help of Helaena's Dreamfyre, who is the second oldest and third largest dragon in the world. She is almost a match for Vermithor and could easily handle Silverwing, Caraxes, or any other dragon on the Black's side.
