** Jesus is the way. proverbs - The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. 2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. 3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. 4 The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. 5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. 6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. 7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. 8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. 9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. 10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment. 11 A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work. 12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. 14 The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it. 16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! 17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. 18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. 19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. 20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. 21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. 22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. 24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. 28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. 29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. 30 He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass. 32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Khadija Newell I disagree. That's what's wrong with this generation right now and why the world is so out of hand. The young don't want to sit down and listen to wisdom to receive knowledge. They so eager to be recognized as being grown and they wonder why they find themselves in the same situations over and over again. It's because, they don't want to listen and learn from someone who has gone through before them. I'm 36 years old and still listen to the advice of my elders and when they are speaking I shut up and listen . I'm not sitting up there thinking of a response, but I really listen and apply their advice to my life and that's why my life has been so richly blessed through The Most High. In fact The Most High commands that the Older women supposed to teach the younger women and the older men teach the young men. Adrienne trying to be smart mouthed at first before this interview with Monique, but she looked very foolish then and those are the very women The Most High Speaks against.

aurelia Johnson it's not even that. These two women are BOTH adults. Meaning they both can listen to what each other have to say. They both can learn something from each other but no. One always has to one up another. While you're talking about a grown woman listening to another grown woman for wisdom, how about we discuss the fact that women are at each other's heads while people are trying to give equality for men and women. There are bigger fish to fry 💯
@JillianAnita6 жыл бұрын
Uhhh this still feels like nothing was solved. Just bc you’re older than someone doesn’t mean your “experiences” matter more than someone else’s. I get that Adrienne is younger but I’m sure she’s been through a lot in the industry being that she was so young when she started.
@dace37836 жыл бұрын
I disagree in some aspects with your statement. There's many aspects to note that makes their experiences different: - Monique has been in the industry longer than Adrienne (all the way back to the 90s) -Monique was in the industry as a PLUS-SIZED woman, and a Darkerskined BLACK woman -Monique has been around more high level actors and producers than Adrienne. Her experience in the industry is more than Adrienne's all together. Although age is *not always* a factor, this is not the first time Adrienne has said things that come off as ignorant and naïve.. Even Loni has had to check her a few times. Nevertheless, like they said, this is the Real and they allow guest to come and have thoughtful discussions when there are past disagreements. That's life. And both Adrienne and Monique handled it respectfully.

Shardae I disagree.
@shardae52196 жыл бұрын
@@aureliajohnson4123 I hear what you're saying and I too value our older generation and seek wisdom from them but this wasn't the situation here. Adrienne suggested that there may have been another (more constructive) way for Monique to resolve her grievances and she was right because the way that she went about it was messy and brought no resolution or peace to anyone. Sometimes I advice my parents on situations and they are extremely wise, but they're human and occasionally don't always make the best choices. When they advise me and give counsel, of course I shut up and listen but I occasionally give them counsel too and they're receptive not because their grown but because they're mature

Adrienne got called out to her face, then tried cleaning it up by saying "I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about everyone". Watch it again, but first check out Adrienne's face when confronted. PRICELESS! Now, I don't roll with Monique all like that, but she's right to call out someone who has NO IDEA what they're talking about. And here's a question for you: How many times has Adrienne been LOUD AS HELL, practically screaming when she does her segment AND when she's trying to make HER point? NUMEROUS and she does it EVERY show. So, is she taking THAT into consideration? Hmmm...

I agree with that statement, but I think when some of us get loud it’s because we are caught up in our emotions. And as far as age, some of us do get wiser with age because it comes with a lot of experiences. But it’s never a good thing to judge people. You really don’t know their journey. And not all people display their pain for the world to see. And we don’t know what meetings and conversations and comments this woman had or heard behind closed doors. Saying their has to be a better way. We can all say that. But what opinions or suggestions are giving? And how do you know she hasn’t tried them?

Like she said she was speaking in general even tho they were on the subject of what monique said i didnt feel Adrienne was throwing any shots or said anything that made her young and misguided or that she would never understand just cause she is not on the same level or hasn't went thro the battles or whatever. I love my girl A, but let’s press pause and revisit the original video that Mo is talking about. If you look at that, A was reeaaaaally strong with the “loud and boisterous” comments even to the point where Loni checked her. There was a lot of butt kissing to the other people mentioned and a lot less grace to Mo for her perspective of this story. As much as I agree that Adrienne is a grown woman, based off of what was said in the video they’re talking about, it makes sense why Mo came off as strongly as she did. I honestly think that the WAY Adrienne voiced her opinion during the original discussion is why you can sense the tension lol.
