Adrix and Nev, Twincasters - $20 Budget Pre-con Upgrade Tech - Command Valley

The decks this year all look like great starting decks. I like that they don't just focus on one theme. It gives the player a chance to push the deck in the direction they choose to. Like what you have done in this deck tech focusing on tokens instead of counters.

My personal pick for the deck is Vizier of Many Faces. It's a 2UU clone that can embalm itself into a token for 3UU. So early game you clone the best value creature on board. Late game you double clone the best things on board. It also serves as a back-up plan if the commander ever gets stolen. I'm personally hoping to embalm it into a Deep-Forest Hermit to make SIXTEEN squirrels.

Dropping the +1+1 mechanic and focusing on going wide makes this deck broken! I added a couple of key cards that would paralyze any opponent: - Koma cosmos serpent (broken) - Junk winder - Somberwald beastmaster (from the innistrad human tribal, creates creature tokens and gives all tokens deathtouch! ) - scute swarm - Archetype of imagination - cyclonic rift - body of research (absolutely broken) Will probably throw in avenger of zendikar too!

Biovisionary is better if you're building around the secondary commander, Esix. having Esix and Biovisionary out when you cast any spell that makes three or more tokens wins you the game on the spot if it isn't countered.

So excited for Strixhaven, C21, and.this deck.especially! I'm personally excited for using the cards for.other decks and don't think I'll be building Adrix and Nev but, I did order like 3 extra copies for other decks lol. I am a liiiiitle torn tho because the Fractal commander looks really sweet too to build. I'm stuck 😬😬😬😬

@@Veggie_King Because Helm goes on Adrix and Nev, then you get 2 Adrix and Nev tokens which aren't legendary from the helm. The next turn you get 8 Adrix and Nev tokens, and then it goes exponential from there.

Broodbirth Viper in a 4 player game with A&N on board myriad attack triggers, get 4 tokens instead of 2 and the 2 extra ones are not exiled.

Great include! Unfortunately, the extra tokens are affected by exile effects. Per Parallel Lives’ rulings: If the effect creating the tokens instructs you to do something with those tokens at a later time, like exiling them at the end of combat, you’ll do that for all the tokens. So those will exile at the end of combat, but you still get double which is pretty cool. - Peter

This screams Tribal, so that is what I am going to do with the deck. I'm tossing out all of the random token generators that they through in and am replacing them with merfolk and wizards, and then I am going to buff all of those merfolk and wizards. For a bit of flavor I will also be doing some instant, creature, and sorcery duplication as well.
