Sample Replacement in Groove Agent SE in Cubase Elements

Thanks for the video! Do you know if there's a way to replace a sample within groove agent without resetting the pad? For example if I have certain filter, amp and pitch settings, all these disappear when dragging a new sample in. which might not always be preferred.

Good video. I don't suppose cubase has the ability to audition samples while the project plays? It's annoying dragging in 200 kick drums one by one. I'd like to hear the kick drums as I toggle through the mediabay. It would be amazing if mediabay could read midi and audition to the song . Cheers

Yes it does using the media bay, even loops it can sync to your project tempo so you can audition loops in time with your track not just one shot samples :)

Mike Smith cheers mate but a little confused here. But it won't play back the midi event that you sequenced unless you drag it inside groove agent. I want to audition samples that play back the actual midi event...not just sync to tempo as I want to hear what the sample sounds like as it plays the melody line or drum part that I have programmed without having to drag and drop. Yeah you can audition samples and sync but you can't audition them in real time and the chosen sample play a midi pattern unless you drag it inside groove agent then it of course plays the midi sequence. Am I missing something? Thanks again

you can see where i am dragging the samples in from there is a play button underneath so you can audition it before dragging it across
