beautiful result but you should be wearing a hawley retainer all the time if your teeth are already shifting! can you show what retainers you have ?

Thank you! Yeah I have a Hawley retainer that I’m wearing as much as possible :) I showed them in my ‘double jaw surgery: flashback edition’ video from about a month ago and I can show them again in the next video I post!

Hi Emily, has your orthodontist suggested a veneer for your +2 tooth that seem so be smaller than your 2+? I was told by mine I will likely need a veneer to make everything fit together in the end and look uniformly

Hey Thomas! No actually, I haven’t had anything suggested at this point, but I also haven’t seen my orthodontist much (three times this year to be exact). To be honest with you, for a purely aesthetic reason I don’t think I can be bothered fixing anything at this point (unless wearing my retainer more will achieve that), but I can see how veneers are probably the way to go to fix the problem!!

I think that anybody who analyses their appearance to the degree that you are is in for a surprise!

Touché. It’s just hard not to when everything looks very different all of a sudden!

First thought always is wow, such beautiful eyes. Second thought, what a beautiful nose! Please don’t ever doubt how wonderful you are on the eye, your personality comes through your face so cleanly and well. From someone who has to undergo 3 facial surgeries in the next 4 years for assymetry I just watch for the djs stuff, which is the first operation I undergo😂 so don’t ever think again mrs about that crooked nose which isn’t there !!! You’re beautiful, Inside and out ,and I really appreciate your content 😊 and also on the same note, wrong of me to say don’t feel conscious of something (nose complaints etc…) because I can’t see it,I’m a big guy 6ft 4 and a sportsman, people think I’m crazy/can’t see what’s wrong in my case but Luckily my mum and family can and are supportive. But it just reminds me, people see different things to others around them sometimes. I can watch this video and think my god your gorgeous but the videos content itself is literally at points stating what you don’t feel looks right… all that matters at the beginning of the suns rest is how you feel about yourself, and I know deep, deep down within yourself you must feel happy because you should, how couldn’t you looking like that? You are beautiful. I really hope you feel that about yourself Because it’s truth, Like looking at a diamond. P.s that’s definitely the creepiest thing I’ve ever written online if I took the time to read it back😂🤣 You are safe and I’m not mental 😂 love from England x also I’m a bit of a poet so always a bit of a romantic at heart with words.

Wow @@jason7134 ! That’s honestly so nice of you and I’m very flattered :) I do want to let you know that I took that video a long time ago now, and at the time I was getting used to my new face and I had my doubts and wanted to capture that authentically, but I feel pretty happy with everything nowadays and my face has settled more -so that’s good! It can certainly be challenging deciding whether to have the surgery and having other people tell you that they think there is nothing wrong! I definitely had people in my life that thought I was crazy, but you know your jaw better than anyone else and when it’s not right, you know. I hope all your surgeries go swimmingly and you recover in no time! I’m so excited for you to be on the other side ☺️☺️ You’re right, we all have our down days and it’s important to remind ourselves that no one picks us apart like we do ourselves!
