It's necessary to educate kids about this topic bcz children are mostly curious about this and unfortunately unlike 90's all the unhealthy resources are just a click away from them. So it's the responsibility of parents to answer their queries as soon as they approach puberty otherwise they will educate themselves from internet. But I think mothers had better educate their daughters and fathers should educate their sons separately. And adult education should be given as much as it's required according to the age of children. And most importantly disclosing all the information is just not a purpose, teenagers should be taught to to discipline and control their desires, to protect themselves from indecent activities and how to channalize their affection for opposite gender according to principles of Islam
